Level 7 – Fog Trap Energy Arena

Level 7 introduces a dangerous fog-based challenge where memory, speed, and awareness matter more than pure strategy. Unlike previous levels, the arena actively hides older moves, forcing players to think fast and remember past positions while avoiding a hidden trap.

How Level 7 Works

At the start of the game, one random node is secretly selected as a trap. Players take turns placing their energy symbol on the arena, but only the most recent moves remain clearly visible. Older moves slowly fade into fog, increasing difficulty with every turn.

Trap Mechanism

One node in the arena is marked as a trap. If a player taps the trapped node, the move is canceled instantly and the turn is lost without placing any symbol. This trap remains active for the entire match and does not move.

Fog of Memory Rule

Level 7 introduces a fog system that hides older moves. As the game progresses, earlier energy nodes become fogged, making them harder to track visually. This tests player memory and attention under pressure.

Timer Pressure

Each player has only three seconds to make a move. If the timer reaches zero, the turn automatically switches to the opponent. There is no pause, making hesitation extremely risky.

Winning Conditions

To win Level 7, a player must connect a valid three-node energy line using the allowed win patterns. Once a winning pattern is detected, an energy beam is drawn across the arena and the game ends instantly.

Draw Scenario

If all nodes are filled without forming a valid energy line, the game ends in a draw. The fog system remains active until the final move, making draws harder to detect visually.

Why Level 7 Is Unique

This level combines hidden information, time pressure, and punishment-based traps into a single experience. It rewards calm thinking under stress and punishes careless tapping, making it one of the most intense stages in the Energy Link series.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the trap move during the game?
No. The trap is fixed once the game starts and stays in the same position.

Can fogged nodes still win the game?
Yes. Fog only affects visibility, not game logic.

What happens if both players hit the trap?
Each trap hit skips only the current turn. The game continues normally.

Is Level 7 harder than previous levels?
Yes. Memory loss, time limits, and traps make this level significantly more challenging.
