Player X Turn

Level 6 – Trap Pulse Arena

Level 6 introduces deception and punishment into the Energy Arena. Unlike earlier levels, not every energy node is safe to activate. Some nodes are hidden traps, designed to break momentum and force instant adaptation.

This level combines extreme speed, misleading visuals, and sudden turn losses, making awareness more important than aggressive play.

Level 6 Gameplay Overview

Trap Nodes Explained

At the start of each match, two random nodes are marked internally as traps. These nodes appear playable but punish players who activate them.

If a player taps a trap node, no energy symbol is placed and the turn is immediately skipped, giving control to the opponent.

Fake Energy Pulse Mechanic

After certain turn switches, the arena may briefly display a fake energy line. This pulse looks like a winning connection but disappears quickly.

Fake pulses are purely visual and do not affect the board state. Their purpose is to distract players and create hesitation during fast turns.

Extreme Speed Timer Rules

Each player has only 2 seconds to act. The timer resets instantly after every turn change.

Turn Switching & Arena Shake

Whenever a turn changes, the arena briefly shakes to visually signal the energy shift between players.

A turn-change sound plays simultaneously, helping players stay aware of control changes in the chaos.

Winning Conditions

A player wins by connecting three matching energy symbols along a valid energy path. When this happens, a solid energy line appears across the arena and the match ends immediately.

Draw Condition

If all energy nodes are filled without a valid connection, the round ends in a draw. Due to traps and skipped turns, draws can occur suddenly.
